Welcome to Reps. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By using Reps, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you create an account and use Reps, we collect:
Account Information: Your name, training experience level, and reason for signing up (all required fields)
Authentication Data: Email address (when you sign up via email), or authentication tokens (when you sign up via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In). Email addresses are handled by our authentication provider Supabase and are not stored in our primary database tables.
Workout Data: Exercise logs, workout templates, custom exercises, sets, reps, weights, training notes, tags (strength, hypertrophy, power, endurance), sticky notes, favorites, workout schedules, and any other fitness-related information you input into the App
User Preferences: App settings and customization preferences you configure
Information You Provide
Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access Reps, including device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers
Usage Data: Information about how you use the App, such as features accessed and interactions within the App
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, maintain, and improve the App's functionality
Create and manage your account
Sync your workout data across your devices
Personalize your experience based on your training experience and preferences
Respond to your questions, comments, and support requests
Send you important updates about the App, including changes to our terms or policies
Comply with legal obligations
How We Store Your Information
Your data is stored in two locations:
On Your Device: We use a local SQLite database on your device to store your workout data, which allows the App to function even without an internet connection
Cloud Storage: We sync your data with Supabase, our cloud database provider, to enable data backup and synchronization across your devices
Your data is transmitted securely using industry-standard encryption protocols.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
Supabase
We use Supabase for authentication services and cloud database storage. Supabase may collect and process data in accordance with their own privacy policy. You can review Supabase's privacy practices at https://supabase.com/privacy.
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to process in-app purchases and manage subscriptions. RevenueCat processes payment information through Apple's In-App Purchase system. RevenueCat may collect data related to your purchases in accordance with their privacy policy, which you can review at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In
If you choose to authenticate using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, those services will share certain information with us according to your authorization. Please review Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies to understand how they handle your data.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
With Your Consent: We may share your information when you explicitly authorize us to do so
Service Providers: We share data with third-party service providers (Supabase, RevenueCat) who perform services on our behalf, as described above
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or subpoena)
Business Transfers: If Reps is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time through the App settings. When you delete your account:
All of your workout history, templates, custom exercises, sticky notes, favorites, and associated data will be permanently deleted from both your device and our cloud database
This action is irreversible and cannot be undone
Some information may be retained for a limited period to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes
Data Export
We are working on a feature that will allow you to export your workout data. This feature is not currently available but will be implemented in a future update.
Children's Privacy
Reps is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@therepsapp.com, and we will take steps to delete such information.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:
Access: The right to request access to the personal information we hold about you
Correction: The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
Deletion: The right to request deletion of your personal information (as described above)
Data Portability: The right to request a copy of your data in a portable format (feature coming soon)
Withdraw Consent: The right to withdraw consent where we rely on consent to process your information

Your continued use of the App after any modifications to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
International Users
Reps is currently available for iOS devices. We may expand to Android and other platforms in the future. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. By using Reps, you consent to the transfer of your information to our facilities and service providers located around the world.
